Parent: "I want freedom from the government over what I teach my kids!"
Government: "We hear you! How's this? We can take away all of your funding and then you must report directly to our ministry of government agents who then decide if what you are teaching your kids is appropriate and proper to how we feel! How does that sound?!"
Parent: "Great! I will take it!"
Government: "Remember this is not 'carte blanche'* , complete freedom to act as you wish or think best. You have a list of regulations to follow."
Parent: (smiling and nodding in acceptance not fully understanding what the government just changed in Bill 15)
Freedom is becoming short-lived for Home Education in Alberta....
More funding in Home Education equals more freedom to Home Educate!!!
